Babel Ark Fund: Supporting the Dance School Charity

The Babel Ark Fund was created to inspire and support the dance school community by offering vital resources and opportunities for young dancers. In the past, this money has been used to subsidise tickets for the children and students to go to London to see “Into the Hoods Remixed” and “The Snowman”. Both at The Peacock Theatre and to provide financial aid to help pay for dance classes for students in need.

Achievements and Past Events

The Babel Ark Fund hosted a series of successful events that received tremendous backing from the community. These events, known for their vibrant atmosphere and interactive activities, raised over £400 from just one event . This substantial amount played a crucial role in funding various programmes and initiatives designed to benefit the dance school and its students.

Contributions of Anjie Lakhanpaul and Sam Smith

The early success of the Babel Ark Fund would not have been possible without the dedication and hard work of key individuals such as Anjie Lakhanpaul and Sam Smith. Both worked tirelessly to ensure the smooth operation and growth of the charity.

Future Initiatives

As we look to the future, the Babel Ark Fund is thrilled to broaden its support by potentially introducing scholarships for aspiring young dancers. These scholarships are designed to alleviate financial challenges and provide talented students the chance to follow their passion for dance, regardless of their economic situation. By investing in these scholarships, we aim to cultivate the next generation of artists and ensure that every dancer has the opportunity to shine.
