Hello Everyone,
We are almost at the half term break. There will be NO classes on Friday 30th and Saturday 31st October 2026.
Welcome to the new children who joined the Babel Family and to our new teacher Becca, a great addition to our team.
Update on Sara’s health
Following a surgical procedure to remove a cancerous kidney, Sara is now undergoing regular immunotherapy treatments every six weeks for just over a year. Unfortunately, the side effects are unpleasant and unpredictable. She will be at class on alternate weeks. One week she will be in on a Friday and the following week on a Saturday. It will not interrupt the smooth running of the school.
Because of this adjustment to Sara’s lifestyle, a few changes will be made to reduce her workload.
Showtime
Many of you are aware that this would normally be a show year, with a performance at the end of the Spring Term in 2027. Sadly, Sara has had to postpone for one year. It isn’t a decision taken lightly, but the workload to produce a show is challenging at the best of times. She is truly sorry for the disappointment this will inevitably cause. We will make more of our Presentation afternoon next Summer, to give the children more a sense of performance.
Term Dates
This term will finish on Saturday 12th December 2026. We have cancelled the weekend of 18/19th December. All invoices will be adjusted to reflect this.
Uniform
We will be allowing parents to order uniform through Class Manager, we have put together the price list and the shop will go live soon! Outer wear, such as hoodies, t-shirts etc. will be available to purchase very soon through a separate company. You will be able to order directly from them, and they will send the items to your home address. More details to follow.
