Congratulations to the children who took part in the Hounslow Dance Festival 2019. We haven’t entered a Festival for more than 25 years. Cara took “Annie” from our recent show and worked very hard alongside the children who also gave their all.
Cara said of their performance: “The other groups were very mature in look and their dances. Ours looked teeny, but I think ours had the most fun”
Comment from a parent “The girls and Daniel did so well. They danced brilliantly! Please pass on thanks to Cara for a job well done – she got them dancing so well!”
Babel Company Class are travelling to Disneyland Paris to perform!
They have worked so hard and passed the audition. We travel on 8th, perform on the 9th and home on the 10th April 2020. Families are travelling together for this exciting adventure. We are performing Bond and Come Alive from our show this year and taking 3 new pieces as well!
I am so proud of all the children and students who were totally committed to the audition process and to Charis and Sharon for their complete dedication to achieve our goal. We have a lot of work to do, but what an adventure we are embarking on!

A great week attended by 38 children and students aged 6-18 years. Classes in Ballet, Street and Acro every day for 4 days. Art and craft as popular as ever. One day out to the V & A in London. A performance for parents at the end of the week. Cara, Charis and Sharon worked as hard as ever to produce a fun filled week.
The last week in July saw 42 children and students from as far away as Sydney Australia have a great week. The theme was The Greatest Showman. Routines and songs were learnt. A huge banner made in art and craft. A day trip to Covent Garden in London. On the last day, parents and friends came and watched the fruits of the week’s labour.
Sharon will be joining our Saturday team in September (2017). She already teachers on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday. A student of Babel as a child, she went on to earn a degree at The Royal Academy of Dance in Ballet Education. She will be a welcome addition to our passionate and skilled teaching staff on a Saturday.
24 children and students travelled to Theatre Royal, Windsor to perform with Wandershow Productions in “Making Memories” and that is exactly what they did!
A great day out. They performed Celebration and Silencio with great passion and enthusiasm. Sara, with Vicky, Maria and Neha looked after the children, their only misgiving was the 4 flights of stairs to and from the stage! Their legs are not as young as they were, particularly Sara’s!
Melissa Dobson and Tavneet Matharu both celebrated their birthdays whilst at the theatre. Birthdays they will never forget. Thank you to Jasmine Kochhar who very kindly brought a chocolate cake along, which everyone enjoyed.
Sara described this as a warm-up to our main event “Dance in Time” to be performed on the 19th March 2017.
Congratulations Babel girls, you did yourselves and the school proud
